Experience ESR
Orientation
New students are expected to participate in Orientation at the beginning of the semester in which they matriculate. The schedule is carefully balanced to facilitate orientation goals that include:
- introductions to peers, staff, administrators, faculty and, when possible, current students from both seminary communities
- location and user information on places of importance such as the Lilly Library, Wellness Center, Business office, Academic Services office, and Computer Labs
- essential information about specific academic programs and policies
- advisor assignments and registration for courses
Time for relaxing and social interaction in small groups is usually scheduled for mealtimes or at the end of the day, and, while encouraged, is optional.
