ESR Hosts Spring Prospective Student Open House

On Friday, March 1, Earlham School of Religion hosted prospective students at an Open House on campus.

Visitors had a full day, including: attending two sample classes - Lonnie Valentine's Spirituality of Peacemaking and Steve Angell's American Religious History; Joint Worship with Bethany Theological Seminary; a lively lunch discussion with ESR professor Lonnie Valentine and Bethany professor Scott Holland discussing pacifism and justified violence (pictured left); financial aid and admissions sessions; a student-led campus tour; a panel discussion with ESR alumni; and a pizza and game night with current Bethany and ESR students. And all of that was before the start of our 2013 Spirituality Gathering! If you are interested in joining us for our next Open House, it will be held on Friday, August 16, in conjunction with our 2013 Leadership Conference (http://esr.earlham.edu/news-events/annual-events/leadership-conf).
