ESR and Earlham College Welcome Ben Pink Dandelion
ESR is pleased to welcome Ben Pink Dandelion to the ESR and Earlham campus on Monday and Tuesday, August 30th and 31st. Ben is the Quaker Studies tutor at Woodbrooke, and co-author of Heaven on Earth: Quakers and the Second Coming, among other books.
He will address the topic "The Future of Friends" on Monday, August 30th 4pm-5pm in the Landrum Bolling Center, Room 201, on the Earlham campus.
Ben will discuss the topic from a global perspective, with a particular focus on the important roles of Young Friends and Young Adult Friends.
Ben will also be the presenter for ESR's Common Meal on Tuesday, August 31st, when he will address "The Restoration of Hope": his views on eschatology, including the hope that can be derived from this area of theological inquiry.
Common Meal takes place in the ESR Center dining room, and begins at 11:20 am for those wishing to eat with the community for a cost of $7.00. You may also arrive at 12:00 pm at the conclusion of the meal for Ben's presentation.
