ESR 2011 Willson Lectures with Joerg Rieger
Earlham School of Religion will be hosting their annual Willson Lectures on April 4-5, 2011. This year's featured lecturer will be Joerg Rieger, Wendland-Cook Endowed Professor of Constructive Theology at Southern Methodist University. Rieger will speak on Empire, Economics and Christ: Does Christianity Stil l Make a Difference?, and will give three lectures surrounding this topic.
Lecture Schedule:
Monday, April 4th at 7:00 pm
Christ and Empire: The Radical Christian Heritage
Join us for refreshments and a book signing after this lecture.
Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 am
Empire and Economics: The Difference Christianity Makes
Tuesday, April 5th at 12:00 pm, following Common Meal
Empire and Resistance: Reshaping Desire from the Bottom Up

This is a free event and is open to the public. Those who attend the final lecture are invited to come beforehand for Common Meal at 11:20. The cost per person is $7 and can be paid at the door. Please RSVP to Mandy Ford. All lectures will be held in the ESR Center on the Earlham School of Religion campus, located at the corner of U.S. 40 West and College Avenue in Richmond, Indiana.
