ESR Hosts Fall Prospective Student Open House
On Friday, November 2, Earlham School of Religion hosted prospective students at an Open House on campus.
Visitors had a full day, including: attending two sample classes - Steve Angell's Modern Quaker Life and Thought and Nancy Bowen's Introduction to Old Testament; Joint Worship with Bethany Theological Seminary; a lively lunch discussion with ESR professors David Johns and Nancy Bowen discussing God and boundaries (pictured left); financial aid and admissions sessions; a student-led campus tour; a panel discussion with ESR alumni; and a pizza and game night with current Bethany and ESR students. And all of that was before the start of our 2012 Ministry of Writing Colloquium! If you are interested in joining us for our next Open House, it will be held on Friday, March 1, in conjunction with our 2013 Spirituality Gathering (http://esr.earlham.edu/news-events/annual-events/spirit-gath). Contact Matt Hisrich at hisrima@earlham.edu or stay tuned for more details!
