Road Trip-- Hagerstown
Hagerstown, Indiana, boasts the only other Pizza King I know of that has a sign that changes regularly. The delicacy here advertised on the east side appears to be the regular Saturday thing; several weeks ago on a Saturday, however, they had it on the marquee as the vastly more mysterious “SPECIAL BEEF MAN”. I was somewhat disappointed to learn his secret identity.
Beef Manhattan, by the way, involves leftover roast beef and gravy on toast with mashed potatoes. Not sure why a pizza place is making it, but whatever…
