Earlham School of Religion staff serve multiple roles which assist the administrative and teaching faculty with providing the best possible learning environment for our students. They provide hospitality and support to our students, alumni, and community members. Each bring unique backgrounds and perspectives to their work, and share a singular focus on equipping new generations of students for lives of active ministry.
Miriam Bunner, Assistant to the Dean and Student Volunteer Service Coordinator
Miriam joined Earlham School of Religion in 2013. She earned a B.A. from The Ohio State University in 1977.
Ruth Cutcher, Development Intern
Ruth is a current Master of Divinity student at ESR. She is a member of Durango Friends Meeting in Durango, CO, and currently serves as Director of Education for West Richmond Friends Meeting.
Michael Jordan, Custodian
Michael is a longtime fixture at Earlham School of Religion, where he has been since 2008. He maintains the school’s grounds and buildings, contributing to the beauty of our campus.
Kristen Laws, Events & Applications Coordinator
Kristen joined the staff of Earlham School of Religion in 2018. She earned her B.A in Psychology from Earlham College in 2018.
Kevin Poole, Computer Support Specialist
Kevin joined the staff of Earlham School of Religion and Bethany Theological Seminary in 2018, and works with the Director of Seminary Computer Services to support both school's technology needs.
Naomi Bu, Joint Seminaries Writing Coach
Naomi Bu is from Toronto, Canada. She has been working as an editor for over six years within theological and editorial circles, providing technical editing, proofing, co-writing and coaching services. Trained in Professional Communications at Ryerson University and English as Foreign Language at the University of Toronto, her extensive background in communication has led her to teach English to foreign university students, and write and edit for academic journals, articles, dissertations, press releases, manuscripts and published books. Always open for assistance, Naomi’s services are available to all students seeking a fresh eye and supportive counsel.
