DESCRIPTION:Join us on Zoom for our next Author Talk\, featuring Howard Macy! We will discuss his spiritual journey among Friends and his insights into the biblical prophets found in his book Befriending the Prophets.  \n\n\n\nPerhaps the prophets can provide timely wisdom for how to live and lead prophetically in a highly-politicized season.  \n\n\n\nRegister for Author Talk \n\n\n\nA bit about Howard Macy: \n\n\n\nHoward Macy is now retired in Newberg\, Oregon after a lifetime of public ministry among Friends and teaching\, mostly at Friends University and George Fox University. He often taught about Psalms\, the Prophets\, and spiritual formation. Retirement offers a less intense pace\, but still leaves room to speak and write as way opens. Howard loves exploring Oregon\, playing trumpet in musical groups\, and sharing in the life of Wayside Friends Church in Newberg.
