Earlham School of Religion’s Associate Professor of Pastoral Care Jim Higginbotham will begin a one-year appointment as Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs beginning in January. The position is primarily intended to finalize and implement ESR’s newly-revised 75-credit hour Master of Divinity, which will launch in the fall of 2019.
At its Fall 2018 meeting held October 11-13, the Earlham College Board of Trustees approved a recommendation to name recently retired Earlham School of Religion Dean Jay Marshall as Dean Emeritus.
Congratulations to Ryan Frame on being promoted to director of seminary computer services for both Bethany Theological Seminary and Earlham School of Religion. Frame was hired as computing services specialist for both schools in August 2014, having previously been the proprietor of an IT service and consulting company.
After 17 years of service to Earlham School of Religion, Tim Seid will conclude his employment as Associate Dean and Assistant Professor of New Testament Studies on October 31, 2018, which is at the end of his current sabbatical.

Mandy Ford, who has served as Earlham School of Religion's Director of External Relations since 2007, will now have the title of Director of Community Engagement.
Ford's new title reflects careful attention to the gifts she brings to the position and growth she has made in the past eleven years at the seminary.

Earlham School of Religion is excited to announce new lower course audit fees! As accepted Occasional Students, anyone can audit courses for general enrichment with faculty approval on a non-credit basis at the now reduced rate of $350 per course. In addition, those who hold an M.A. or M.Div. degree from ESR will be able to audit classes for an even further reduced rate of $100 per course.
