ESR Offers Financial Aid Relief for Students
In response to the COVID-19 virus and its impact upon our students, ESR has implemented important financial aid relief for students for the current and next academic year.
Students who have been impacted by the virus and are struggling financially can now apply for emergency financial support by contacting Jonelle Ellis, Director of Business Services and Facilities. These funds can be used to cover personal and living expenses while they navigate the crisis.
For the 2020-21 academic year, ESR is increasing need-based financial aid for our Access students. This includes up to 100% of tuition costs. Students will need to complete a FAFSA and financial aid will be determined based upon that form. For our residential students who have or will be awarded the Cooper or Leadership and Service Scholarship, service hours for the 2020-21 academic year will be waived. While it is our hope that campus will be open in the fall, if that is not possible residential students will retain their full scholarships for study online.
"These one-year changes to our financial aid policy are intended to help ease the burdens upon our students during a time of increased stress and financial challenge," shared Jonelle Ellis, Director of Business Services and Facilities. "It is our hope that these changes will allow our current students to continue with their education without disruption, and our new students to begin their seminary education at ESR."
If you have questions or would like more information about any of these changes, please contact Jonelle Ellis at firstname.lastname@example.org or 765-983-1523.
