About me
Paul Sniegowski, Ph.D., is the 21st president of Earlham College and Earlham School of Religion. He assumed the presidency in 2024 after serving as the Stephen A. Levin Family Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Biology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he led undergraduate academic programs across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Sniegowski’s research focuses on genetic mutation and evolutionary genetics. His work has been supported by organizations including the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, NASA, and the Sloan Foundation. He has co-authored nearly 70 peer-reviewed publications and is recognized for both his scholarship and teaching. He holds degrees from Indiana University and the University of Chicago.
