Join QLC for a new trustees training series with new topics. We will gather on Zoom monthly on the third Thursdays of January through May, 2025. Emily Provance will facilitate the series but each session will have a different guest speaker.
For our March 20 training, join Ted Bongiovanni as he shares stories and insights from navigating insurance and risk at the New York Quarterly Meeting (nycquakers.org), where the team manages over 70,000 square feet of historic real estate hosting everything from Meetings for Worship to climate marches and punk rock concerts. Drawing from real experiences finding the right broker and coverage for a dynamic Quaker organization, Ted will explore how Friends’ values can guide these practical decisions. Through stories and small group discussions, we’ll consider together how different organizations might approach evaluating their insurance needs.
Bio: Ted Bongiovanni is Executive Director of the New York Quarterly Meeting (nycquakers.org), where he works to create environments where communities can grow, transform, and work toward social change.
