All Friends and ESR alums – YOU are invited. Our focus will be on hearing and telling stories that are FOR the future. If you are committed to the vitality and future of our faith communities (Meetings/ churches), come and be a part of the 2nd Annual QLC Quaker Leadership Conference: STORIES FOR THE FUTURE.
We anticipate a time of story-telling and wisdom-sharing that will help us find paths forward into the future of Friends.
While focused primarily on the Religious Society of Friends and its future, our expectation is ESR alums of various faith traditions will resonate with the theme of Stories FOR the Future.
Through music, worship, stories, presentations, sandbox discussions, facilitated conversations, and informal interactions we will be paying attention together to share, listen, learn, and discern about God working through us and among us.
Our time will be bathed in worship, prayer, and reflection in the expectation that the Holy Spirit is present as our guide and inspiration. Come and join as we listen and tell Stories FOR the Future.
This is a hybrid conference with in-person and Zoom attendance options. In-person participants will have the opportunity to register for the Conversation with Anne Lamott (ESR Perkins Family Lecture) on 4/25 for no additional charge.
