About me

Della is a religious/Christian educator, recorded Friends minister, spiritual director, teacher, and people-loving administrator. She has been active in several branches of Friends as a life-long-and-convinced Friend with her “ecumenical” Quaker experience beginning at age 11. Although she graduated from Friends University with a B.A. in English., she continues to have a love/hate relationship with writing (but really enjoys editing). She counts her four years as an M.Min. student at ESR as some of the most formative of her life and ministry. Della has served in ministry among Friends at Friends United Meeting and Western Yearly Meeting. She has also served the wider faith communities of Indiana as Executive Director of Indiana Network for Higher Education Ministries and as an assistant in the Dean’s Office at Christian Theological Seminary. She was recorded as Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by Western Yearly Meeting. After two decades of living in Quaker-founded Plainfield, Indiana, she now lives in a beautiful tree-laden area of Indianapolis with her husband, Kerry Green.
